I know you all enjoy a bit of "build in public" - and I do too.
Because we often get trapped in the go-get-it mode, chasing the next milestone without stopping to reflect on what we've actually achieved.
Today I want to stop and share with all of you.
October was an excellent month for me and my little solo business, Inscaler.
Revenue, new projects, pipeline - everything pointed toward a strong end of year.
I closed five new clients, with a total value of €25K, and created 16 new opportunities (my highest since September 2023 - thanks to all the inbound from ITW 😍).
💰 Closed Won: €25K
🤝 Deals Won: 5
📈 Deals Created: 16
Revenue-wise, we've already passed 2024's total, tracking for +21% YoY.
When I talk about revenue, I mean money in the bank - invoiced and paid.
I'm getting close to what I'd call the "cap" of my solo business - roughly €250K/year, considering I sell and deliver everything myself.
Something new this month: I became a lecturer for a master's program at Talent Garden.
I taught the 2025 class of Strategic Account Management & Sales Technology - five sessions, 20+ ambitious students, and nearly 500 new slides I prepared from scratch (with design help, thankfully).
I have worked on the content since September, and the feedback from the class was powerful.
The first session in Milan was in person, the rest on Zoom. I loved it.
Big thanks to the Talent Garden team for the trust. Hopefully, I'll be back next year.
ChatGPT Atlas has been a real time saver lately.
I've used browsers with AI before (like Dia), but having everything embedded this smoothly makes my day-to-day work much faster.
My entire AI ecosystem is mainly on ChatGPT; therefore, Atlas work better than Dia for me, as it has all the memory of my ChatGPT team account.
My custom agents for call reviews, co-founders and content refinement are working great, with lots of memory now its becoming more and more relevant.
Productivity:
When my calendar's empty, I struggle to focus on what truly moves the needle.
I tend to work on things I enjoy rather than what's essential.
Usually, I give myself grace - if I'm tired, it's fine to slow down - but a few days this month could've been more productive.
Hiring a Social Media Manager:
I've decided to hire a Social Media Manager next year. I've grown my LinkedIn solo so far - no real plan, just instinct.
I wanted to explore new platforms, and I want someone to help me do it properly.
After posting the job, I received over 100 applications - most unqualified, a few outstanding.
Going through them was chaos.
I wasn't ready for that level of admin. Still, I've shortlisted 2–3 strong candidates to interview next week.
Hiring for content is a different world from hiring SDRs or AEs.
Lesson learned: I need a better structure for creative roles.
Overall, another solid month.
I'm grateful to keep doing what I love - building early-stage sales teams, working with visionary founders, earning well, and still having time for family and hobbies.
Thank you to everyone reading this newsletter - we're now almost 1,000 founders, CEOs, and revenue leaders strong.
See you all next week, same day, same time.
